However, this waiting period might be expanded if your request is for reservations for personalized services such as theater tickets or museum entrance. Anyway, we do our best to respond you ASAP. We also discuss all necessary details such as appropriate time, place of pick-up etc.

Perm is an important cultural, scientific and industrial centre of the Urals. It was founded in 1723 on the bank of the Kama river, its population now is over 1 mln people. 

The city is situated on the Transsiberian railway, 200 km from the Main Urals Ridge (border between Europe and Asia). It is the most important river port in the eastern part of European Russia (river cruises to Moscow, St.Petersburg, to the Caspian and the Azov seas). 

The city has: Ballet college, 12 higher educational institutions, 7 theatres, a circus, philharmonic society, hippodrome, 2 sport centres with artificial ice for hockey and figure skating. Russian-Orthodox churches, Protestant churche, mosque, and synagogue.

City tour

A walk in the historical part of the city: architecture of the 18th-19th cc, "Stalinism-style" architecture, Gorky's park, the Kama embankment. Souvenir shops, central market. Duration 1.5-2 hrs.

Historical museum (the city centre)

The layout depicts the nature, economy and the history of the region - from dinosaurs and mammoths (the skeleton of one of which one can see inside) to the middle of the 20th century. The museum has an archaeological department and the exhibition hall with temporary exhibitions in different fields of the region's life. Duration 1 -1.5 hr.

Museum of artillery (25 min from the city centre)

Collection of cannons and armoured vehicles, manufactured Perm, including the biggest cannon, ever built in Russia. 1-1.5 hr.

Geological museum (15 min from the city centre)

Collection of semiprecious stones from the Urals and Siberia. 1 hr.

Dyaghilev's Museum (the city centre)

Mansion of the 19th century prominent Russian ballet impresario Sergei Dyagilev. 40 minutes.

Art Gallery (the city centre)

One of the best collection of pieces of arts outside Moscow and St.Petersburg. The layout having more than 200 items includes works of all the best Russian painters of the 19-20 cc, samples of the famous Russian advance-guarde of 1910-1920s, which influenced European art considerably. Unique collection of wooden ritual sculptures of the 16-20 cc. 1 - 1.5 hr.

Opera and Ballet Theatre (city centre)

national acknowledgement. Repertoire includes classical Russian and foreign ballet and opera performances. 2 - 2.5 hrs.
